Despite the fact that the World Wide Web has made inroads into the reading habits of children all over the globe, the indispensability of book-reading practice can never be replaced. The school has a full-fledged, well-stocked library with spacious reference and reading areas for the benefit of all students in their pursuit of knowledge. The library has been neatly categorized subject-wise for easy reference based on age and class groups.

Sudharsanam Vidyaashram library has a collection of 5,000 books on all kinds of academic and non-academic subjects, which are very useful for extra reading and widening horizons. The books are periodically renewed and updated. The senior section comprises subject-specific books, encyclopedias, science journals, periodicals, question banks, and closed reference books. Apart from regular books relating to academic subjects, the library also subscribes to top journals and publications in various areas for faculty members.

A school library is a structure within the school that houses a collection of books, audio-visual material, and other content that serves common use to meet the educational, informative, and recreational needs of the users.

In our school library, we have various types of books: fiction, non-fiction, literature, books on general knowledge, etc. The books in the school library are arranged in such a way that students can find them easily.

A library is a place where there is a huge collection of books and various other resources that are made accessible for reading and reference purposes. People of every age group can find resources such as books, magazines, periodicals, audio, videos, and materials in other formats as per their reading interests and tastes.

Our school has a large library with a wide selection of books on many subjects. Once a week, we have a designated time for the library. Each class has a library period during the weekly schedule. It encourages curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving.

It is integral to the cultural and social life of the school. The school library is a central point for all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking, and lively discussion.

SV provides various effective resources.

We provided online education through Ms Teams platform to stay connected with the students as they had lack of exposure with the outer world. Integration of the learning platforms with new age interactive applications has made online classes more convenient for both students and teachers.

In Robotics many manipulators are used by students for getting practical experience.

Teaching Learning Materials:

                                Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) are the tools that are used by teachers and instructors within schools to facilitate learning and understanding of concepts among students. These are the educational materials that are used within the classroom setting to support the learning objectives, as set-out within the lesson plans (Teaching Learning Materials). Within the education system, there has been use of TLMs since ancient times. With the classroom setting, the major role that has been rendered by the TLMs is to make learning real, practical and pleasurable for the students. The teachers also make use of TLMs to illustrate or reinforce a skill, viewpoint, perspective or an idea. TLMs also render a significant contribution in bringing novelty and freshness within the classroom environment.   

It is used by the teachers to enhance their teaching to be more comprehensive and effective in the classroom.

There are plenty of manipulators are available in the Math lab such as Spike Abacus, Number Strips, Penta Blocks, Geometry kit which are used to do hand on activities to understand the concepts in a better way.

Maps, Charts & Globes, Audio and Video TLMs, models, overhead projectors are used in science.
