Sudharsanam Vidhyaashram School gives utmost importance to the well being of the students. Our school has hired a qualified nurse as a full-timer. She will be present in our campus during the school hours. The nurse would be quite efficient to deal with the minor injury through first-aid.
We provide direct nursing services to the students and to the staff members to maximize health and wellness in the school community. Svastha is equipped with the basic materials and facilities to address the health needs of learners while in school. An on-site trained and qualified nurse is available to manage and assess any health issues that may arise during school hours.
Our school has a well equipped clinic that provides first-aid to a student in need, under the supervision of a full time doctor and nurse .The School appointed Nurse ,and they are responsible for Ensuring all staffs are aware of first aid procedures and are trained from time to time. Adequate space is available in our clinic to meet the medical needs of the students. The nurse in the clinic acts as the first responders to any incidents , they will assess the situation where there is an injured or ill person and provide immediate and appropriate treatment. Ensuring there is an adequate supply of medical materials in the clinic and first aid kits are available in the Scholar’s Residences, on board the School buses, with the Team Leader when students travel both within Chennai and outstation. Also, checking and replenishing the contents of these kits on a monthly basis.
