Slow Achievers Enrichment Program SAEP a unique initiative by SV to empower Rights to education and No Child Left Behind (NCLB) SAEP is often used to stress the basics in a subject. It will help them to solve problem in order to achieve expected 28 29 competencies in core academic skills such as literacy and numeracy.
Extra Care Classes are meant to improve the learning skills and rectify the problematic areas. ECC teaching aims at helping pupils to build a good foundation for self learning. It evaluates the performance & the progress of their learning.
This facility is available for KG children till 4.00 pm. They enjoy a variety of activities.
Extra curricular activities help children to develop their social skills and learn how to work in a team to achieve a shared goal. These activities allow the children to explore different areas of interest, Increase self confidence, build leadership skills and even improve grades-all while having fun.
Some of the ECA are Sports Activities – Indoor & Outdoor,Karate,Silambam,,Dance,Yoga,Mass PET,Band,SV Symphony – Tunes & Tones,Instrumental Music and SV Band.
Co-curricular activities are an important part of school education as they supplement the academic curriculum. They help in the all – round development of a child by providing a platform to showcase their talents and skills. These activities also play a vital role in the personality development of a child.
Some of CCA are Assembly Activities, Club Activities, House Activities, Organizing Expo, Educational Trip, Conducting Elocution, Essay Writing, Poem Recitation, Quiz, Debates, Art & Craft activities, Poster Making, Collage Making, Origami, Story Telling, Best out of waste competitions, etc.

Club Activity is driven by a part of our vision to ensure “Every Child Matters – Every Skill Harnessed” framework to build Skill India. To achieve this, our school is providing a range of core services. Many of the activities are offered in partnership with voluntary or private sector providers of repute and our school is working in clusters to share out services.
CLUBS FOR PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT :
Our school offers clubs that teach various games and sports-indoor & outdoor, dance, yoga, karate, music, singing, environmental awareness, Mathbuilder, language and literary competencies and art & science which are all offered during time-table hours for free. The clubs have an important role to play in enriching the 30 curriculum. “Being at school is not just about what you do between 8.20 am and 3.00 pm, it’s about acquiring the skills to go into society – it’s about widening the horizons and showing children that they can be a leader or a scientist. Clubs generate a lot of fun and they also help to boost the children’s self-esteem and self-confidence. “We need happy, self-confident children because they are motivated and can achieve more through clubs.” By offering club activities our children get the chance to succeed in different areas, then they achieve success to overcome barriers in the subjects that they find difficult. Raising the self-esteem of children is a central mission of the club’s programme. No one denies that extracurriculars are a worthwhile pursuit. But, how should you choose which ones and how many to get involved with? The obvious answer is to focus on quality over quantity. So, the students can choose any two of the club activities, one for each term.

Ruskin Bond English Literature Club in SV is an organ of motivational force to the aspiring students and aids them to excel in all-round activities of academic session. The inevitability of English cannot be denied in the modern world as it is the global language enriched with great literature works of writers, play rights and poets. The club helps the students to create an interest in reading and understanding the aesthetic and moral beauty of English Literature.
HERITAGE CLUB
All-round development means mental, physical, psychological, spiritual and vocational development. We cannot achieve this all-round development by following mere classroom teaching-learning procedures. Here the relevance of Club Activities becomes prominent. School clubs create small communities. They attract people who share the same interests such as in music, arts, or sports. Club activities help students develop a sense of unity and teamwork, learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals. They help learners develop social skills.

STANDARD CLUB
Impart knowledge and reorient attitudes of young generation students for individual growth and national interest.
To inculcate standards of culture and to sensitize the young professionals on the impact of standards on life and society.
To help young professionals select a career in the industry to enable and appreciate the importance of standards and introducing them to initial concepts of national and international standards and to encourage them to take active interest and participate in standards work.
In this process they get a platform to acquire knowledge of global trends within the industry and get a better understanding of the market developments in different parts of the world.
i.e., Bureau of Indian Standards is the NATIONAL STANDARDS BODY functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. It operates various schemes like Product Certification (ISI Mark), Management Systems Certification, Hall Marking of Gold and Silver Jewellery/Artefacts, Laboratory services, Enforcement activity, Complaint redressal, etc., for benefit of industry and in turn aiming at consumer protection.
CYBER CLUB
With the rapid and widespread adoption of digital technologies and online services, ensuring the security of our cyberspaces has become an indispensable component of personal safety. The escalating cases of data breaches and cyber-attacks highlight the urgent need for cyber- safety and cyber-defense skills. In our school Education it plays a pivotal role in increasing awareness and combating cyber threats. It is essential that students in schools are well-informed about cyber hygiene and potential cyber threats, as the younger generation becomes increasingly vulnerable to cybercrime.
Womens cell:
Women cell helps for the overall development of women in all spheres of their life. It also helps in creating awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation on a range of issues from empowerment to environment.
GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL (GRC) :
Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) where every problem from the students and the parents with the institution (teacher based) are solved cordially. It helps both the parents and students to have a smooth move and a proper understanding with the teachers and the institution.
The students of the school are allotted one of the four houses i.e. AGNI – Red, ARIHANT – Blue, ARJUN – Green, ASTRA – Orange. The house system is an integral part of our school and helps to coordinate various activities and leads to the overall personality development of the children. Each house is placed under a house master, who is directly responsible for the discipline and general well-being of the members of the house. They are assisted in their task by a team of teachers. Regular inter house competitions are held throughout the year for various co-curricular activities 34 35 which foster healthy and competitive spirit. The house children work hard to keep the house flag aloft and win the coveted house trophy.
